FAQ

Is the tour price truly 'All-Inclusive'?
Yes, the price covers all mandatory entrance fees, tickets, full-day private transportation, fuel, parking, and a dedicated English-speaking driver/guide. Lunch is also typically included (please check your specific package confirmation).
How long does the tour take in total?
This is a full-day trip, typically lasting between 8 to 10 hours, counted from the time of hotel pickup until your return drop-off.
How much walking is required for the Tegalalang Rice Terrace?
At Tegalalang, you have the option of simply viewing from above or doing a light trek. If you choose to walk in the terraces, be prepared for a moderate to heavy walk descending and climbing steep steps on slippery paths.
Will the guide accompany us inside the Monkey Forest?
Yes. Your guide will accompany you inside the Monkey Forest to ensure safety, help with interaction rules, and ensure you comply with all security guidelines.
What is the best time to visit the Monkey Forest to avoid crowds?
The best time is right after the sanctuary opens (around 8:30 AM) or later in the afternoon (after 3:00 PM). We structure our itinerary to maximize your safety and comfort during the visit.
What if a monkey takes one of my belongings?
Do not panic or try to retrieve it yourself. Immediately ask for help from your guide or the official staff in the area. They are trained to negotiate the return of the item, often in exchange for food.
Why do we have to dress modestly at Tirta Empul Temple?
Tirta Empul Temple is an active holy site used for purification ceremonies. Dressing modestly (covering shoulders and knees) is a mandatory form of respect for the Balinese Hindu culture and tradition.
Does the tour include the Bali Swing?
The Giant Bali Swings are generally an optional activity and NOT included in the base price. If you wish to ride one, please inform your guide; they will take you to a reputable location where you can pay the additional fee.
What should I wear for the whole day tour?
We recommend wearing light, breathable clothing and comfortable walking shoes/sneakers. Bring a light jacket or shawl, as early mornings can be cool. Remember to bring a sarong (or use ours) for the temples.
Is lunch included, and what kind of food is served?
Lunch is included in the 'All-Inclusive' package. It is usually served at a restaurant with beautiful rice field views, often featuring Indonesian/Balinese dishes. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request.
Is this tour accessible for wheelchairs or strollers?
Not recommended. Unfortunately, the main areas of the Monkey Forest and the paths at Tegalalang Rice Terrace have many stairs, uneven walkways, and slippery sections. Wheelchair/stroller access is very limited.
Is there a strong Wi-Fi or cellular signal at the tourist spots?
The cellular signal is generally quite strong (4G) at the Monkey Forest and Tegalalang. However, we encourage you to enjoy the nature and culture instead of being glued to your phone. Free Wi-Fi may be available at some cafes.
